As the topic states i am wanting to know if our cars come stock with a way to be able to adjust the camber?? I am wanting to get like between 1 and 1.5 degree.

I've also been told that if there isnt a camber adjustment that i could just loosen some bolts then pull the tires out as much as possible and then re tighten the bolts which would then give me more postive camber.

On mine they had to drill new holes in the left strut mounting flange to put it in at a slight angle, giving it more positive camber. They also had to use the camber adjustment units. It seems that about half the people say you need to use the camber adjustments. Without them, my car pulled harder to the left than Ted Kennedy.

I should have clarified that the adjustment had to be made when installing the Eibachs with a set of GR-2's...

go to autozone and pick up some camber bolts. they'll cost you a little bit of nothing, and they're not hard to install. you'll want a shop to set them right for you, tho. and, i hope you like buying tires.

im not sure if you are adjusting yours beyond stock cause i have intrax and kyb gr2's and when i had it aligned the camber went right back within tolerances.

Im tearing the hell out of my tires fast anyway so i not worried about the extra wear on the tires.

Redalero....you say you HAD to do it with cause of eibachs and the gr2's??? Cause that is the setup that i plan on running but the camber thing is only a possiblity. I guess what im asking is ...am i going to have negative camber if i just put the gr2's on with my eibachs?

all it took to get it back to specs was an alignment, it didnt need any camber adjustment kits, i guess there was enough adjustment there to do the job.

All the work they did on mine was to get it to track straight. When they did the original alignment at the time of the spring / strut install, they did it to factory specs (they give you the print outs), but it would pull hard to the left. At 60 MPH, the car would cross over into the oncoming lane after only travelling past six lane divider marks on a convex two lane road. I took it back three times and each each time the print out showed the alignment to be within spec. They didn't charge me for the alignment and I went to a second shop. They too said the alignment was within spec, yet it still pulled hard to the left. It was only after they re-drilled the strut that the car tracked straight. Now it's all good.

very interesting....this makes me wonder if it was just with your car or what. Because if my car is going to have the same problem it's almost not worth doing it myself if im going to have to have someone else figure out where to drill new holes at in the strut to get it to drive straight.

Anyone else with Eibachs and KYB GR2's that has some input???

i had eibachs without gr2s, and was aligned perfect. it must have been his car, cause even with my coilovers dropped 3-4" i was VERY near factory specs.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just my car. That's the way my luck is...

the bolts? very unreliable, they like to turn themselves over time. if anything I'd spend a bit of money and have some custom top mounts made with adjustment bolts for caster/camber. i was gonna build my own at one time, but lost interest cause im pretty much all show no go.
