front seat question

Is it possible to remove the seat skin to throw it in the washer? I took the back seat out today, took the skin off the foam crap and washed it in the washer. when i went to put it back in i realized how disgusting the rest of the car looked. I cant afford an extractor or any of that crap so if i can take a few hours to take the skins off and wash em id be happy with that.

Just rent a steam cleaner, it'll be less hassle and I dont think its too expensive.

The seats are sewn on to the foam from what I've seen of my leather seats.

I've done this before. Really not that much trouble. Take the seat out, just the 2 bolts on the back. You'll see that it's held in place with plastic clips and velco. I had someone use my car and they let snow melt into the passenger seat, god it smelled bad, had to take it apart and let the foam dry for a week.

What he said. I wrote a how to on replacing leather a few months back. It works exactly the same to take off and replace cloth.
