Personally, do what YOU want with your car, not what others THINK you should do. According to this board, the ONLY things you can do to your Alero, is lower it, put on bigger rims, clear the corners, and turbo it, (NOT supercharge it!!) Heck, it's your car, do to it what YOU want to!!!

You know, if you feel like making any of these a reality, I can make a vector for what you've drawn out for real cheap or in exchange for a cheap part. That means you'll already have the files and format you need when you go to a shop to get them printed and placed...

when i do graphics i draw first, and draw some more, graphics should flow with the body of the car not just slapped on
and you do realize that it does cost money right?? usally the side or sometime the whole car has to be repainted, and your talking thousdands of dollars,
just for basic flames going into the doors everything comes off the car, and doors forward are repainted, the base coat has to be re applied, then the flames laid out, masked off, color in the flames, then clear

your talking at least 2,000 just for flames, graphics are time consuming, and a tedious job we just dont slap anything on ya know, it has to flow it has to work with the cars shape,

and just say no to vynil!!!

Of course the guy who makes a living on paint hates vinyl. Paint doesn't come off when you want to sell the car, though.

Do whatever you want. If you can't tell, I don't mind sticking out a little. But the MINI pulls it off a little better than an Alero, in my opinion. It can be done, just don't get the generic flames from Autozone and stick 'em on.
