third brake light.Bdyman this ones for u
So I have searched for about an hour and found nothing. I was wondering if anyone has ever shaved thier third brake light, if so how did it turn out?

Depends on what state you live in. Most states only require that you have 2 working brake lights, not three. That's why there's cars out there with only two lights. Check you local laws before you do anything.

ummm.....i would say any state, since all vehicles manufactured since 1986 are required to have them.......so.....

Alright then, I'll go have a one on one with my mechanic, as that came from him, not me. (my 87 cutlass doesn't have a third brake light)

I'd always wished GM had mounted the third brake light inside the passenger cabin at the top of the rear window. Seems like a much more visible place.

ya thats kinda what I had in mind. I was gonna work out a way to mount it from the top of the rear window (inside the cabin), think it would look different.

iam not worried about a 3rd brake light, if a cop wants to be a rooster, so be it
if your askin me to teach you how to fab and weld and shape metal, i cant do it online, impossiable, you want to learn come to my house and be my apprentice

I know how to fab and weld lol, just wondered about your ideas on the subject. plus chicogo is a long way from canada. anyway I dont think im gonna do it till next spring. its getting cold here and I dont have any shop time.

A while back, someone was talking about underlighting the spoiler if i remember correctly. that would be pretty cool.

Jeenysrider (mitch) has leds that are under his spoiler. I think they work as turn signals on each side. I would like to see some under the middle of the spoiler for a brake light.
