Is there any difference in the remote controll from a 99 compared with one from a 01?

I'm going to buy a alarm to my car, that works with the old controll, but they say it fits alero 01-, do you think it will fit mine too?

What alarm system is the best?

please someone must know if there is any difference between the remote controll on a 99 and a 01.

If you are talking about the keyfob, then yes it is a different type, i was going to get one for my car before i got an alarm, but ebay told me that you must get the type that works with your specific model.

I have a Clifford model (Rsx3.5 Remote Start/alarm). It works great, you get this neat little keyfob that has a picture of the car on it and if anything happens. I don't know how to use it yet and still learning, but it is one amazing thing. Good luck!
