You could always get adaptors from 4 bolt to 5 bolt. It will throw off the offset though and push the wheel out about an inch.

Never said is was a good idea, just that it could be done. I know one guy with adaptors and they haven't snapped yet. But he only drives that car about 3 times a week and not very far. So he doesn't put too much stress on them.

for the most part yay........although you can also use rims with the 5x114.3 lug......and if you do a lot of test fitting with your suspension, tire size and wheel fit you can squeeze on more sizes........like my wheels.....17x8 with a 29.5 offset (5x114.3 lug) and 255/40/17 tires......hmmmm beefy!!!

As long as we are on the subject of rims, does anyone have 20's on their Alero? If so, how does it look? Or are 18's as big as you can go without making any mods to the area around the tire?
I'm thinking about the American Racing Casino Chrome rims, I'd like to go with 20's, but am not sure if they'd fit or how they would look on an Alero?
The other specs on the American Racing Casino Chrome rims:
size: 20x7.5
offset: +42
bolt: 5-115
backside: 5 7/8
Any thoughts?

IMHO, 20's don't have enough rubber...unless you're like Robbie(i think its him) which is kitted and bagged/hydros, then it looks good
i had the AR 18" Royales, and 18's were plenty big
