I was talkin to my GF's dad yesterday, who owns a shop, and he was tellin me about this cool ass computer he just picked up for GM cars. He said he could view and change a lot of the information in the pcm such as shift points, skip shifts and the governor. Said he's already changed the shift points, put in the 3-1, and 4-2 skip shifts and took off the governor in my GF's Intrigue and is gonna do the same to my Alero next time I'm home . Next time I talk to him I'll get all the info on what kind of computer he's usin and let you guys know. This thing looks really promising

Uh... ok. You know that you can get 3-1 and 4-2 shifts now, right?

Yeah, with hard pedal. I think this just cuts out the middle gear completly, so if you even give it a little gas it'll drop from 3rd to 1st, wich could end up being annoying, like i said I'm not sure on all the details, I'm gonna call home (tomorrow morning for u guys) tonight and find out for sure.

Just remember if you end up getting a 4-1 downshift that is bad, 4T40/45E can't take that and will lead to transmission failure.
