brake light w/ abs,svs,trac off

so the brake light is coming on quite frequently now along with the other lights. only comes on when i'm turning (and stays on until i shut car off). no lost fluid, i even tapped on the resevoir to see if it was the level sensor that was sticking, or something.. brakes don't feel any different.

any ideas?

also would the brake code show up in the history if i hooked up my abs scanner

Maybe you have a short somewhere, random lights where coming on in my car and it was because I screwed through a wire.

well your a retard for drifting a alero /front wheel drive car............................................... ........moving right along

there was a story of a man named juan which happens to be joses long lost brother`s cousin twice removed, so juan was trying to smuggle drugs into the u.s.a in his oldsmobile alero, and low and behold to hhis surprise the traction/svs/ abs light came on

he says to himn self, jaun we are having a mechanical problem what is going to happen if i get caught with these drugs and the abs light on??? OH NOES!!!!

thanks the lord that there happens to be a pep boys in the middle of the desert for juan to pull in and have his car scanned to see what the problem is

so the tech plugs in the snap on scan tool and low and behold to juans surprisding drug smuggling eyes it happens to be the the wheel bearing on lets say the drivers side

after paying 50 bucks for a scan juan pays the techs fee and drives off into the hot summer desert heat knowing that its the wheel bearing causing the problem

Juan is a very smart drug smuggler. This is why he is driving an Alero and hasn't been caught.

The ABS light is your hub, could almost bet on it. Brake light, check your fluid

its the RED BRAKE LIGHT that i'm talking about.

i've checked the fluid. im guessing it could be an ebrake problem, but it only comes on when im turning??

unplug the sensor in your resivour. if the red brake light stays on all the time then take a paper clip and jump the two terminals in the connector. the light should turn off. drive it and see if the light still comes on while turning. if you unplug the sensor and the red brake light does not come on, skip the step with the paper clip and just drive it.

make sure to connect it back onto the resivour when your done! this will rule out the sensor for your fluid level.

it could very well be your wheel bearing. i've had my brake light come on after the abs, trac off, and svs light. change wheel bearing and i was good to go!
