It's a daily driver, and sc's have less moving parts and issues...

get the head rebuilt, ported, and polished... internals will be fine I personally think it's pointless to get after markets cams with out doing other stuff to the valvetrain.

Yeah stayin N/A (for a while at least)...so just do work on the head an ill be all set?...the car only has 40,000 miles on it so when you say rebuild u mean?

never hurts to have stronger parts stainless valves, stiffer valvesprings, titanium retainers, are some suggestions it might be a bit expensive, as far as I know the GM Racing parts are pretty pricey I'm sure you can get away with out it but to me it just seems like a good idea.

get the ecotec cam tool in that case. I think summit sells them just search parts for Cavalier they'll pop up. but be warned installing Cams is alot harder than it sounds... heres a how to http://www.ecotecforum.com/forums/sh...light=camshaft
