oil pan

does anyone know how to remove the engin oil pan???
and what do i need to removed it???

were are the bolds? if i removed it do i need to buy a gastek right?
I want to take it off because i saw in some websites that when u had a clicking noise in the motor you should remove the oil pan and clean it up....

Yeah, don't do this, esp since you can't find the bolts around the pan

What do you plan on cleaning it with? and it's going to get dirty again when you put new oil in

you can give your engine a good cleaning with seafoam (and you can put it in your oil before a change too) to clean all that mess up, w/o having to drop your pan.

and just so we're all on the same page... can you post those other pages where you read that? i'm kinda interested to see what they are talking about...
