How to remove relay?

I want to take out Relay #22 in my '04 Alero GL to disable my DRLs, but I have a question...

How the $#%@ do you remove it?! It's wedged in there pretty tight! I tried pulling hard but no go. Didn't wanna yank too hard for fear of breaking something.

I took a look and it looks as though you need some special tool to take them out or something.

Any insight? Greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Pull it straight up. wiggle it a bit.

Yeah it's a bitch, but it will come out. A very small screwdriver helps too. but use it on the top, not the bottom. You don't need to short anything out

..actually its easier to remove the one next to it first then take it out, but I found that it throws a code at night time..at least on the 2000.
