i'm driving to school and all of a sudden my security light turns on, i come to a red light turn the car off and back on. Everything seems fine when all of a sudden my Brake, check engine and airbag light turn on. i'm like WTF IS GOING ON. i keep driving since that was the olny thing i could do. then my speedo shoots to zero and i was doing anything but not moving, and my gas gauge and light turn on and go to the E. after about a sec everything turns off beside the security light. this kept happening my whole drive to school, about 20 mins. i finally park and go to class. its now after class i walk to my car and drive home and everything is fine...wtf happened? it rained could some sensor or something gotten wet?

HELP ME!?!?!? please

-nick

AlbinoMonkeyRat is on a distinguished road
a similar thing happened to my dad's Intrepid, but that was because there was something wrong with some sensor in his transmission. But that's dodge, they have poopy trannies.

My lights were doing weird things, then going away. When I caught one on the way to the shop, the only code I got was low system voltage. The culprit: a 5 year old battery. Shop owner (Pat's dad) says I might not have made it home after seeing just how much juice it had, and may have taken the alternator with it.

Sounds like your alternator is going bad... my cutlass did this and eventually fried my alternator and battery.

it was the rain. I went through a rather large puddle and got everything all wet and it did the exact same thing. after a few hours it dried and all was well.
