oh yeah - i was in niagara this past weekend for a stag..

we got 2 rooms at the Park Place hotel for $138+tax/night/room for 4 ppl (2 dbl beds per room) -- i think it was on lundy lane.. but it's near clifton hills/fallsview blah blah.. dunno if that will help you guys out...

FYI niagara fallsview casino (the new one) is more expensive than old casino.. everywhere i went (@ 4am), cheapest table minimums were $25.. whereas at old casino some table min's are like $10 bux....

So I talkd to my friend and the Corporate rate at the hotel is more expensive than any of the other prices that have been bouncing around. I was thinking that we could start the convoy at the Kelseys in Markham (Hwy 48 and 14th Ave)

i've got 2 FRS' available...and technically, convoy will start in Barrie when i meet Jim so i don't get lost <_<

I have an FRS, Channel 11 sub 0 is what we use in the other club, it seems to work well, usually a clear channel. I'll be downtown toronto, and I gotta pick up a straggler along the way in Hamilton, so I don't know how I'll join the convoy.

Some of the hotels offer a discount if you have CAA. Theres another hotel right across the street from the thriftlodge, and it has a much larger parking lot, i always see car meets happinin there (oldtimers, corvettes, PTCruisers). Its across the street from rumours as well, still nice and close to everything. I'll scoot over tonight and see what the prices are like there, just for more options. How many rooms do you think we'll need, it might be cheaper by number and letting them know a little further in advance.
