Crutchfield.com says it does not fit the 2000 Olds Alero Coupe or Sedan. But the Coupe or Sean part doesnt matter because they are the same dash.

It will fit fine
my 9835 fits fine.
AT most have a dremel handy for that plastic at the back of the unit... cutting it away will leave more room for wires... or in my case cooling fan :P

that little piece of plastic holding the top of the inside of the dash to the bottom of the dash around the HU will have to go if you run rcas and the rcas go on the driver's side of the hu when its mounted. i personally used a power drill and a grinding bit that was shaped like a christmas tree to grind it off...i also took time to grind off the side edges of the dash too cuz the edges(where the screws go on either side of the HU and mount bracket) were stopping the mount bracket for my alpine 9825 from fitting in properly. FYI the grinding bit is available for about $3 at any hardware store. kevin
