My Grandfather Wants $9000 For A Red Alero That Has 33479 Miles And Is In Decent Running Shape But In Fair Physical Shape,(Paint Cracked, Faded, And Weather Beaten) Should I Go Along With This Or Say F*** It?
(No Other Aleros Are Around For Sale)

that's some pretty low mileage.
also, turn off your CAPS LOCK, that is why all of your words are appearing with only the first letter capitalized, it's a filter to eliminate the annoying posts with ALL CAPS

i'd say that its high but not by that much...what year is this alero? what kind of options does it have? it all depends..
i'd say that it would be worth at least 7-8k.

Is it really that hard of a habit to break? Just push a button, and it's gone! It's not like smoking

I just sold my red 2000 Alero (V6) for $3,000. Dealer would have given me "$1,000 maybe $1,500" for it. It was in good shape except for one rust spot. New hood (warranty), new tires, new belt, new wheel hub, dash fixed, etc, etc. But 118,000 miles.
Either way - $9k is a ripoff. You might find that on a dealer lot all cleaned up for $6k.

$9K is way too much. Tell him its worth $6K due to possible LIMG issues

do a bluebook estimate on it, and then go down a little in price.... for upkeep. learn to haggle! low ball, and slowly work up.
and no dealer will give him 9k for it. that's just nuts.

I'd say that is way high. I have a 99 that I bought with 30k miles a few months ago. I already had to replace the alternator and all the other usual stuff like the hazard switch, blower resistor. It's not really going to be worth more than the private-party blue book value if you had to sell it. Trade-in value is a lot less.

I will do a blue book thing in a little while to see what it is worth...he is stubborn and probably wont back down (he already replace the alternator, bower motor, headlight sensor and a bunch of other crap..)

I wouldn't pay that much, not a chance. I paid just over 9k for my 2003 Ecotec, with 20,000 miles on it.
