Tobin's latest email:
Matt,
We need just a knuckle and bearing pack, no need for the caliper and/or rotor although pictures of an OE brake kit as well as your Baer kit could prove helpful. We’ll need to get some idea as to brake hose routing, length, etc, as well as potential interference issues. If we’re going to do this, we’re going to do it right and try to make the kit accept everything up to the ZR1 carbon/ceramics even though I can’t really imagine running something that aggressive on an N-body.
Please send the knuckle/hub to the address listed on our website:
KORE3 Industries LLC
Attn: Tobin Knighton
32206 Tangent Dr
Tangent, OR 97389
541.924.5673
Tracking information and/or a heads up when it’s due to arrive is always appreciated. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Tobin

Cliff, I sent you a PM.
I really want to do this, and I don't mind eating the shipping costs on sending parts to Tobin for mock-up.
Hopefully the pricing is good, 'cause I'd rather this not be another one-off project for me (I've done 2 sets of Koni dampers.....they weren't cheap).

Matt, I live closer to Kore3 than you and also have the Baer setup up front. I'd be willing to drive it down there if they need to see it, let me know. I'm always in favor of more braking power...

If you want to, I'm sure it couldn't hurt.
Tobin has given me more feedback in 1 week than I've received in the last 2 years from Baer.
I still think the best thing is to get Tobin a knuckle for mock-up. By all means, drop him a line and see if it would help to push the project along.

Have a wheel bearing assembly with new grade 8 fasteners, and driver's side knuckle should be here on Friday.
Planning to ship everything to Tobin Saturday (hopefully).

UPDATE:
Sent email to Tobin 9/29 re: status.
Received reply today:
Matt,
The N-body application is currently being designed and prototyped. I’ll send you some pics as soon as we’ve got something worth showing.

ok so i don't want to start a new thread so I'll add to this one.
I got the set for the rear, they are 4 piston caliper with 13.25 inch disc.... in 2 weeks I'll have the fronts (14,25inch I think)... btw you don't have to redrill new holes for the discs just slot them a little with a dremel toward the insisde, they will still line up perfect because the hub bore is the same... an adapter plate made with a 1/2 inch steel and for the correct spacing some machined washer and the stock alero brakes lines fits perfectly too....
To get some clearance with the wheel I had to use a 1/4 inch wheel spacer on the rear.....
also I'm working on a solution to get the ebrake work... i'll cut the drum section of the stock rear disc and press or weld it into the drum section of the corvette disc...
I hope this can help some body I'll add pictures of the frons setup once i'll get them
BUT I must say that if fits in my wheel with minimal clearance and I got 19's so I doubt that they will fit on 18s....

Yeah, the Z06/ZR1 calipers are huge.
Tobin is going to do several different setups, from the base package to Z06 brakes. I am probably just going for the base stuff since it's more than adequate for the driving I do, they're much lighter in weight than a Z06 setup, and I need to fit them under 17" wheels.
For the rear, I've already shown that 12" brakes from a Grand Prix GXP bolt right up and retain the use of the E-brake.

OK, boys and girls.....
A bracket and spacer kit to adapt front C5/C6 calipers and rotors will run only $105.00 from KORE3.
Stainless braided brake lines will be $60.00.
I will be getting all of my other hardware from Tobin, like pads, rotors, and calipers/caliper hardware but for people who want to source their own stuff, I think we can all agree that this is very affordable.
NOTE that this is for a base C6 front brake setup, with 2-piston pin-drive calipers and 325x32mm rotors. It will fit under 17" wheels.
I have not inquired what (if any) other parts are required for Z51 or Z06 brakes.

That price isn't bad at all ... only question I got is: You say spacer kit ... Is this going to make the wheels sit farther out than stock or just move the caliper position further back/inside the wheel? Reason I ask is since im on air i got to worry about fender clearance (when down/tucked) if this is going to affect wheel position.
Let me know ... really like this whole idea.
