two post mirrors and rustoleum

i finally got A set of two post mirrors. they came off a grand am at work. i got a little daring and tried the rustoleum paint thing and they turned out great. i just thinned down some high gloss black with some acetone and sprayed two heavy coats and they turned out great.

Was it hard to put those on, and are they power? If so was the wiring the same?

im not gonna paint them the same color as the car, in my opinion it just looks strange. with tinted windows and the black b-pillars. i want to keep it all black it just flows better.

I differ I think the 2 post look good, but I however like them color matched, but to each his own, and its a good inexpensive mod to do. They came out pretty good though with what you did, just like the idea of matching the car. I wish there was a tasteful way to do the pillars to match the car...I think it would stand out more!

I would like to see a front shot of the car and the mirrors, and a 180 degree shot of the side just to see what it looks like with those profiles.

I agree with you. I think they flow much better with a body kit on the car and color matched.
