More regulator troubles...

Ok, so I am on like my 7th window regulator for my drivers side. This time it ripped the little clip that actually attaches to the window off (the one in the back). It needs glued back on, but I want to make sure it never falls off again (ha, i know right, not possible with these damn things). I was thinking about using JB Weld, but would that take the repeated stress of the window regulator over time?
