Cracked Transmission at Mounts. HELP - Page 2

Mounts are steel, transmission is aluminum. Can't weld the two together...

I don't know about where you live... but here I can get a transmission with one year warranty from a recycling center for 300$...

just weld the bolts in there real good

If i was going to weld it i would want to take the Tranny right out to get the right angles thats what i would do being a welder myself and 300? nooo a really do welder is gonna charge you 100-150 a hour and it really shouldn't take long

hellfire where abouts do you live ? how much would you charge to weld the bolts to my tranny ? i still have all the bolts and they are steel so they should be able to be welded , im in woodstock ontario . please keep in mind this might not even fix the issue

Im in Saskatchewan >_< the trip here and back would be over priced hahaha
i wouldn't charge much see how long the job took buy me a beer :P But the distance being the case im sure you could get a cheap tranny and a junk yard i just bought one yesterday out of a grand am for 400 for my buddies alero
