alero security problems !!

Hi guys i have a 2.2L ecotec alero , 2002 coupe . 5 speed transmission , and about 3 months ago i changed the ignition cylinder and had to do that whole security feature thing where it flashes for 15 minutes and then you can start the car , well everything has been fine for the past 3 months but recently the security feature will enable itself , almost twice a day and i have to wait 15 minutes with key in the ON position until i can start it again .. i believe its an issue with the battery , also the car will have no power , then i will touch the positive battery wire and the car will have power... im wondering if the issue with the security could be that the battery disconnects and reconnects itself and then the security feature is re-enabled , i have an amp wire and brass screw in the positive port on the battery , im guessing something is wrong with the wiring , can i get any help ?
