gurgling noise after shutting off.
just performed a head gasket job 100 miles ago just to give you an idea what iv done. i know i have a small leak at the coolant hose the connects to the pip that goes between the lim and uim. is that all it would take to cause the gurgling noise in the hvac box after shutting the engine off? im not loosing coolant in the res and theres no smoke out the pipe. what do you guys think?

Did you bleed the system?
Regardless, how small is the coolant hose leak?

i did bleed and the hose leak is minimal. enough i can smell it but small enough all i can see is traces of it on the valve cover. thats the only leak i can find, there is no coolant pooling on the trans for under the p/s pump. so i believe all that is good. and so far my coolant level hasnt seemed to lower any.

Is your coolant level at full or higher?
I had a Fusion that would gurgle, it was because of air in the system. It was fine once I bled it.
Can you describe the gurgling? Does it gurgle any other times?
I'm thinking there's air in the system, I'd fix that leak first.

I think it's probably just that the hot coolant from low in your engine is moving up (heat rises). My uncle has an F-150 from around 06 or so that gurgles when you turn off because of that.

Did you properly bleed it? (It's been a while, but I think you open bleeder screw, attach hose, and fill system until
coolant comes out with no air bubbles)
You may have another leak. A cooling system pressure test would be a good idea.
