My car's from Canada. Can I do a U.S. cluster swap w/o issues?
It's really no biggie, but sometimes it sucks looking at the small mph numbers, also the digital odometer shows kilometers. Will a instrument cluster from an US Alero work without any issues in my car? If so, are the V6 and 4 cyl clusters the same? BTW, my car has the 2.2.

Yup. But it will show the same mileage as the cluster you buy, IIRC
It might be easier to install the aftermarket illuminated gauge face covers.

I was going to suggest the same thing... however his mileage will still read in Kilometers, not Miles... not sure it that is such a big issue or not... I have the aftermarket gauges in my car, I am Canadian with MPH all over lol... I just checked the conversion before I slapped them on and run with it haha

Yeah the metric odometer doesn't really bother me. I just hate looking at the small mph numbers and with me only having the car for a month, I sometimes mistaken the KPH for MPH... I'm just glad I paid attention in class when we learned conversions. lol

^toss on some overlays. There are certain years on the clusters that aren't interchangeable I beleive. 99-01 or 02, 02-04 I think. Not sure...

Thanks for the info... I think I will just go with some overlays. I don't really want to spend money on a new cluster and overlays, seeing that I'm gonna end up getting overlays anyway.
