Mold, or something really did get into the heater box behind the glove box. Newer cars have cabin filters that catch crap that gets in there. Our aleros dont have one, so what ever isnt caught by the screens under the wipers, gets sucked in there. I cleaned a bunch of crap out of my blower motor when my blower resistor went. There is a foam you can spray up the evaporator drain, that can help clean and kill mold, but if its a lot of big junk, youre going to have to take it apart and clean it.

An example,

We dont use this where I work, but the same thing.

Ask you friends if they pulled a prank put some anchovies or other fish in cents or something. If not do the above.

cut grass? wouldn't you have a fresh cut grass smell then? Do you have kids perchance? Off wall question, but spilled milk gone bad or little kid presents are not what adults always like. And they just do the darndest things.

You probably would have that fresh cut grass smell, unless there was something in the grass. You never know, the lawn people don’t usually check for pooh before cutting.

Something in my car now smells of musty death. The colder it is the lighter the smell is and is more musty but today when it got a little warm (40d) WOW OMG it smells of musty death. I can't find out where the smell is coming from. When I get the car warm from the heater it goes away a little from the fresh air. Any ideas?
