Hey guys i was wondering how you read the temp gauge on an 04 alero 2.2, i know it is a pretty dumb question, but i just bought it and, i just recently took it to the dealer to have one of the cooling fan motors replaced in it and he said that it gets up to around 218 and then should come back down to 210, where it should be running at, i was just wondering where that was in relation to the middle mark, thank you , and have and awesome day.

This is more of a "Common Questions", "2.2L", or "General Performance" forum question, bud. Might get more of a response posting in one of those.

if you are really concerned about the temp guage accuracy, install an external guage, i have an autometer to get a much more accurate reading.

and i moved this to the correct section.

My 03 Eco stays around the middle mark. When I am in traffic (stop and go) it goes just a bit above the middle mark.
