99 ALero trunk key cylinder

I can only open the trunk from the driver door now.
When I insert the key in the trunk it feels like it does not go all
the way in and it won't turn.
Question is, could something be blocking it or should I switch out for new
cylinder?
Thanks

any chance the trunk lid was ever replaced? if it was, and they didnt swap the lock cylinders, that could explain it.

It was working fine just before the summer, then just like that it stopped.
Use the key a lot when picking up things. Just to lazy to open door first then trunk. Plus I like all things to work on my Alero.

Quess no key flob could take like a can of duster and spray in it maybe some dirt or something? Then throw some wd40 in it. But if used it alot could of worn out the tumblers or whatever there called
