ok today my car shut off on me and i saw alot of gas coming out of the bottom. i look underneath and my fuel filter has been blown off the line...i just got this car not to long ago and i realized that the black piece that connects the white clips on the fuel filter to the fuel line has been removed not making a proper connection. now the problem is i dont know the true name of this part or how to get ahold of it...all i can for now is just break the white clip off and try to liquid steel it together for a hold until i can find this part. can anyone tell me the name and where to get ahold of that piece cuz i desperately need it becuase im a delivery driver. thanks
If I understand the part You are talking about then it is the fuel Filter Quick disconnect. You can go th NAPA etc. & purchase a repair kit which contains a new Quick disconnect fitting & a clamp.
