I'm going to say not to buy for him.

An intake for a 2.4 will not fit and 3.4 and vice versa.

For the 2.4 intake look under Cavalier or Sunfire

this isnt a cold air intake.....

if you want a cold air intake, you would have to get a warm air intake for the 2.4 (aem works perfectly, i have one in mine). Then you would have to buy a cold air intake for the 3400 and possibly have to buy a coupler so the size of the pipes match up.

you could go with induction dynamics, but ive heard that they are expensive.

Search for a different kind of wai..... i wouldnt get it from this person, it is the wrong intake....

search aem intake for the Cavalier Z24
