I'm looking to buy a short shifter for my ride, either a B&M, which is about $250 CAD after it gets to me, or a other shifter i saw on ebay...Topspeed as the seller would call it, for only about $100 CAD. Appears seller has excellent feedback, does any one know of the shifter? or have used it? great if someone can inform me on this item. thanks

^ word. with something as critical as that, you want to go with something that has a good reputation, even if the knock-off brand is just as good in quality.

I have a b&m, why would you cheap out when ur going to buy a performance shifter, all you need is one bad shift(crack) and you will no longer be able to shift, go with the b&m its the right choice, you can get it cheaper than 250.

I'm not completely positive, but I think the B&M shifter and Fidanza shifter may be the same exact one. Either way with one of those you will be getting a quality part.

you can remove that really easy just by unhooking the cable by the shifter.

Not the same as a short throw shifter. All cutting it down does is shorten the rod. An actual short throw shifter moves the pivot point of the shifter rod to make the each throw shorter and more precise making for quicker shifts. And as others have said, stick with the B&M...do it right the first time.
