Best exhausts when wanting quiet with good sound at high accelleration (what I want). (This is my sumary of all the posts on 2.4 exhausts). Please add your two cents.
In order from quiet to noisy, nice to cheasy/raspy/ricey, you said:
#1 Borla (discontinued?)
#2 Dynomax
#3 Magnaflow
#4 Flowmaster
#5 SLP
Please suggest also - 2.2.5" or 2.5" (Power difference, noise difference)

seein you're wantin to go boost as per your other topic, i'd say at least a 2.5 to let the exhaust flow a bit better...
personally, i have a magnaflow right now...pros, sounds kick ass at all rpm ranges, cons(maybe its just my luck) it rusted out within a year, and lost that kickass sound
and yes the borla is discontinued, but you may get lucky and find a semi used one kickin around sometimes

i have a borla.....
it doesnt sound good at high acceleration.... its like really quiet.... my wai makes more noise than my exhaust imo.... but thats the only con if you want to call it that... i dont mind it at all... pros would be that i get better accel, cooler running temp(if thats good i dunno) i like the tips that the borla has....
you MAY be able to get a dual borla system, but its gonna be alot more.... i have the single, and i got mine used (1500 miles) and it cost me like 440 with shipping and everything

I really like the way that Scot's car sounds with the Magnaflow. He has a clip here somewhere. If you're looking to get the cat-back custom made and installed, check out http://www.noyzboyz.com/ .
