I was browsing the other day and saw the flip flop trunk kit, but don't remember where. Can someone put up a link or show me where to go?
Thanks,

Are these parts and instructions in addition to, or in place of the kit itself?

dont do it then, trust me

itll cause more headache than its worth. becasue for it to work on an alero you have to remove a pin and reset the pin to close it.

Im not telling you to do it or not, but for gods sakes DO NOT follow these instructions in this link http://www.angelfire.com/tn3/i5d/part.html ! If your serious about doing it for show the go ahead, but for everyday use it's really not worth it. The right way to do it and still have your trunk to fit flush it to keep all of the bolts tightened when your not showing it off. I have to take out the two lower bolt to get mine to flip at shows. I don't flip it everyday because it becomes to much of a hassle. You can use pins instead of the bolts to flip it faster, but your decklid will not sit flush.

^^^DITTO. Not for everyday use. I did mine around this time last year. It was cool showing it off but after doing that for about a week, it became a pain in the butt to close without the bolts, so if you're always going in and out of your trunk for something, it's best to take them out ONLY FOR SHOW, or you'll end up like me and have to use the key to open the trunk because the constantly trying to close it without the bolts screwed up the relay for my trunk button in the car and the one on my keys. issed: issed: . More of a pain than it's worth IMO

Thanks, guys. My g/f saw it and was like, "oooh I want you to do that!" She's seen your posts and I believe you got her talked out of it now. <wipe brow> Does seem like more of a hassle than it's worth. For now...
Thanks again.
