I put a clear one in mine and haven't had a problem for a year now, and believe me I have been stopped several times.

I just used a regular old clear bulb, nothing special, I'll take some pics tonight and post them but I think that they look good, and I like the off white look. I wouldn't want them to bright, because a cop may pull you over for having highs on when actually they aren't.

I used the one with 4 LED's from autozone. It's clear when off, amber when on. I've got the silverstar ones for the large turn signals, and since LED's light up slightly faster than filament bulbs, it kind of gives a sequential effect when I turn on my signal

thanks SIUlero that's exactly what i was thinking.but how did you connect 4 led's to that side marker, was it just a special 4 led bulb that you just had to plug in.i was looking at the wide angle smd led bulb from oznium.com, that come's in the 194,is this the kind of set up you have?i don't have a autozone any where around me so i need to fine every thing on the net.

Yeah, it's just a 194 made with 4 leds...plugs right in just like a normal bulb

your best silicone for the headlights is to go with a clear high quality("G.E." brand or "HOME" in canada) it resists molding and exterior will stay flexible and expand and contract with the plastic from temprature changes.

Tip for removing Silicone

A nice little product called Goo Gone works wonders, at least for removing the silicone from any plastic parts. I used it for removing my badges from the rear end, didn't even harm the paint.

Maybe not

Yeah, Maybe not. Didn't think about that one. Might have to soak something in the stuff to make it work. Freezing it is a good idea, as previously mentioned. Makes the stuff brittle and easy to remove.
