Wasn't sure where to ask this, but since I'm doing a major LED upgrade I had a quick question, mainly for Dr. Cherry. Has anyone used Scotchlok's to tap into wires? I've heard they are hit and miss but I really don't wan't to splice anything for this.

Scotchloks??? Never heard of them.
The best (and only preferred way) is to cut/solder. IMHO.

these are scotchloks
and i use them for most of my small gauge wiring i do. they are pretty good for tapping into power or ground
also WTF is google

Ehh... I don't like 'em. I prefer a solid melted metal on metal connection. I know it'll never break then.
I've seen them used, and they seem to work fine. I'll never use them though.

not a big fan of them myself i used them for the brake light resistors and there a pain in the ass id rather cut and splice!!

Don't use quick connects...they will eventually fail or cause problems troubleshooting.
