My engine has 140,000 miles what should i be looking for. I am wondering if i should replace the lifters is there anything else that i should replace in the engine or car.

oil change at every 3k
tire rotation at every 6k
air filter at every 25k
spark plugs and wires at every 100k
coolant flush every 100k
trans flush at every 50k

a VERY vague schedule that we use at work.
other then that i agree with redog. if you have no reason to believe somethings wrong then to make more problems trying to fix no problems.

ya i do all of that. i am thinking of flushing the coolant system since i have access to a coolant system flusher at the garage i work at. i might do the tranny flush also.

ya i will do the coolant flush tranny flush, and i am going to be replacing the calibers,pads and rotors and bleed the brake system after i am thinking of doing the headgaskets because they are leaking a little bit. I fixed my engine bogging down it was the idle position sensor and i replaced the coil packs and wires. The spark plugs have 3,000 miles on them so they are fine.
