new rear strut tower crossbrace almost complete.

I started a new project not to long ago, i got different strut tower bars and i realized the potential for these flat bars for adding bracing modifications to these bars, so i have been working on a rear crossbrace that is removeable. i just have to get all the pieces welded.

i like your wireing setup, looks clean.

no spin yet, its not welded. most of the audio is coming out to drop weight. those are Hifonics one is a 1600 watt brutus, and the other is 1000 watt 4 channel zues running focal front stage, and i am back to a single RF 10. i had brain numbing re audio 10's in a slot ported box, but it was far to heavy. so im slimming it all back down.

a cut off wheel and 4" sanding disk, and time. most of my time was spent with the sanding disk trying to get the proper angle at each end of the aluminum pipe.

whats great about aluminum is you can use a standard wood table saw, and a plunge router with wood bits and pretty much make anything out of aluminum......

The project looks really great and it will be a great asset to your auto-x setup....

sounds like jab might have a small group buy going for himself, if he can get free parts, and has the angles/welding right.

he just needs to setup a jig, and then buy a MIG welder... Unless the aluminum is really thin, then I think you need a TIG welder, that's if im thinking correctly. Did I mention I work at a metal fab shop LOL

i don't want to sound like a complete idiot but what is going to be the gain of just adding the cross braces? sorry i don't really know a lot about suspension and bracing
