Oops, forgot to introduce myself
Hey I joined two Oldsmobile forums at the same time. This one is much more helpful since you focus on Aleros, (the other forum actually sent me here). Anyway I've been posting already so this intro is a little late. The group here is great I find most of what I want in the searches. After I've done a few of these fixes I'll do my best to help out the next crop of new guys/girls.

Welcome. Glad to see another Canadian on here especially with the amount of Aleros in Canada. I visited Guelph a lot of times when I lived in Kitchener.

Thanks everyone!
Mishchief007: Where do you get your parts? I need a front wheel bearing. Canadian Tire has a Timken for $172. I don't usually buy parts from them but it's a name brand and the cheapest I've found....
Um, should we take this to anothe forum, I don't want it to get as long as sillygirl's.....

You want Timken. Get it. That's where I bought my wheel bearing as well. So far so good on the passenger side. I get my parts depending on the part. I've gotten stuff from Parts Source, Canadian Tire, and the dealer. Haven't found any golden gems at the junkyard yet.

I bought my car in June with 36000kms on it. The wheel sensor light show start after about 46000kms. I have 51 on it now.
How long have you been running that Timken?

My dad and I did. Worst part was to not damage the CV joint and axle when prying the hub out of the knuckle. We can now get it done in about 30 minutes if the bolts are nice to us.
