weird roaring from front pass

Ladies and Gents, I need some help.

Ive been having this roaring sound that I thought was my wheel bearing on my front passenger side and it turns out that it's not. When I drive it sounds like i have allterrain tires on and i can feel it throughout my car. The sound is continuous but happens more so when i turn left.

I had the hub assembly replaced and its still doing the same thing... now im lost. Its a very noticable sound if you're a passenger and im nervous bc i have no clue what it could be and that its potentially dangerous.

Any thoughts on what this could be would be appreciated.

Check the rest of the suspension... May be a ball joint

Are you sure its coming from the passenger side? It can be hard to tell which side has gone bad, and the drivers side wheel bearing almost always goes first in countries that drive on the right side of the road....

When you drive on the right side of the road, left turns are long and gradual, while right turns are hard and sharp. That translates into more wear on the drivers side of the vehicle.

I think it is the right side bc the sounds becomes a lot louder when turning left.

Could be.... But when my driver side wheel bearing went bad, I honestly couldn't tell which side it was coming from. Luckily I had a good mechanic to check it out, and pinpointed it as the drivers side.

rule, change both sides...

i thought it was just the right side.

wrong, it was both sides...

if the other side did not go yet, it will.

just do both to begin with...

I was a mechanic in a brake/ suspension/ muffler shop long ago and can say that it is VERY uncommon for both sides to go at once... The norm is the drivers side, but not always the case... The best way to tell is to jack up the car and see if there is any play in the wheel, also spin each tire and listen for rubbing.

Like he said, I had to change both with 3 months difference.

One of the most common reasons people having to do both sides is because they wait to long to get the problem side fixed... Driving a lot with one bad puts more stress on the other.

WHEEL BEARINGS I KNOW WHEEL BEARINGS!!!!!!!!!
i bought a 2001 alero 2.4 4dr gx from a dealer here in maine! The car was mint! it was great for about six months and one night driving to work (54mls)all the lights in the dash came on (trac off), (abs), (svs)! I baby this car!!
so i brought it back to the dealer, the dealer tells me that its the right front wheel bearing and it was replaced!! all should be good i thought... NOPE!!
the next month it happens again!! (lights on) so here we go again!! i bring it back for the dealer to tell me that its the left and the warrenty ran out so i would have to pay! about $350!
well i have fixed cars all me life so i go the the local parts store and spend the $100 for the wheel bearing and i installed it to the right specs torc ect..
well one snowy morning i get the lights on again WTF!!!
well i buy another wheel bearing and so on!!!
well i have put three "sets" of bearings in this car
the last time was about a year ago and the car lays broken in my garage!!
i just purchased a set from e-bay for $118 shipped so we will see
