it's OK to have a slow alero. just like its ok to have a slow camaro, or a slow mustang, or a slow toyota supra. nobody here is going to make fun of you for having a slow alero. well, i take that back. nobody here is going to make fun of OTHER people with a slow alero. welcome to the kill zone.

Backing him 100% on this. It has nothing to do with grudges. It's more from a legal standpoint to keep aleromod safe.

so what you are saying is that you and everybody else are going to make fun of me because my alero is slow, just like yours? just like everybody elses? and this is not the kill zone. you dont know what that is my friend.

no, no one is actually making fun of you......yet. we dont listen to sniveling about how slow the alero is. sorry to disappoint you.
now, as for the metaphor of a kill zone. you opened your mouth and put your foot right in it without prompting from anyone else, i'd say you stepped into the proverbial kill zone. crossfire, no cover, and no way out.
or did I miss what a kill zone was?
a FACTORY alero may be what some people call slow, but then again, most factory cars are slow until something productive is done to them aftermarket. get used to it, there are aleros and other N-body cars running in the high 12's as it is, and i got word from a "little birdie" that 11's are just around the corner.
say g'nite, Gracie.

the point is, is that you and everyone else in this thread are reminding me of highschool freshman and sophomores freakin out cuz they got a new car and have all these virtually unreachable goals given their age and experience and income that will most likely never happen. you are reminding me of that. you're worthless

nice edit before anyone else saw it.
i'm not sure what grade you're in, and i'm guessing maybe 10th.
you are falling into that trap of thinking that nobody has done nor can do anything significant with the car. and you're obviously suffering from what psychologists call "transferrance", which means you falsely accuse others of what you are guilty of, out of shame or embarassment.
if you run a simple search on this site, i'm sure you'll find a few quick aleros, and you can then stop crying about how slow your car is and do something about it instead.

nope, not comparing AN alero, i'm comparing MY alero, because those aren't even close, mine is faster than the factory versions of all three of them by a long shot. including the SS Camaro, the GT Mustang. you think that the camaro and mustang and rice owners that get smoked by an alero are all worked up about how fast their cars are? no, they're running back to their garages with their tails down trying to figure out how to make it faster so that doesn't happen again.
if you're not happy with how slow YOUR alero is, then dry your tears, pop your hood and get to work like I did.
i have other things to do than spending alot of time convincing someone that just dont get it, so either take it for what it's worth, or take it somewhere else. done.

youre an idiot.. im not guilty of anything except for having a slow car.. and yeah there are a FEW quick aleros.. a few. i will admit it.. but there isnt a huge aftermarket performance market for the alero (at least the 3400), meaning there isnt much you can do to it.. meaning that in all likely hood.. you will be slow.. which is true in damn near every case.. and im not in effing highschool, u might be tho

wow this thread is about a guy putting a V8 into his car, so the people who dont like what hes doing should STFU, if hes actually doing it, i have 100% respect towards the guy, hes going to be unique and put the V8 in, instead of every other alero with the 3400 or 2.4 or 2.2.
so stop fighting, and take this to effin PMs

A57 you might as well start a new thread for updating us on this, im pretty sure a mod has no desire to clean this one. I do want to see the progress though. It looks like a very involved and fun project, good luck with it. BTW what motor are you planning on? I looked through the thread and couldnt find what you wanted to use.
