AEM Intake q's

yes! thanks springs fastest for your awesome site! I was just looking at it, then just browsed to this thread, I'm happy to buy from you instead of AEM, stickers and everything, cool... only right now, I'm poor so probably a month or so

?, are those other intakes still on backorder??

has anyone inbatalled them on a 2.4 with a 5speed, it says for autos only

I used to have an aem on my car, 5spd... there is a specific part number for the 2.4L 5spd.. but the stupid bracket that comes w/ it.. well I honestly didn't even use it.

fit like a charm though.. 5spd tranny is smaller.

so can i use the one made for the autos???

as far as I know, yes, but there is a bracket that they suggest you purchase, but it may not even fit Alero's so I dunno. Just buy it, it will fit.

the reason it only fits autos in the J-body is because the clutch master cylinder hooks to the side fo the factory air box in the manual j-bods
ours mounts to the firewall so you will have no trouble. B)

for the V6 yes
I have the 2.4L and ecotec cold air intake in stock
they are custom right now but will be added to the site when I get more instock
they cost a little more becaus eof more tubing involved
but they are 3" all the way.
right now thats the only cold air for the 4cylinder that stay 3" through the whole tube
