I just ordered a intake for a 2.4 liter Cavalier of ebay for 30 bucks from a company called pro car parts #1 reason I got it cheap about 1/4 price of everyone I have seen should be hear soon I will try to remember to come back on and say how it went
that's the one I have. Wish the coupler was red instead of blue though. Anyone know where I could get a red coupler that goes from the TB to the intake tube? I also replaced the cone filter it came with with the K&N filter. Great setup for the price.

Personally i had the AEM short ram air, it sounded mean, and i thought was the best way to gain cheap hp, i was taking all stock v-6 aleros with just the intake. but the APOC CAI is also pretty good.

I got my pro var parts intake on the one thng it has on the AEM is that it is the full pipe from the throttle body to the cone filter. The wires for the air sensor barely reached its new placement on the intake rube the wores are pritty much taught. One thing I don't like is the filter is really small but the sound that comes out of it is very big it is like haveing a ricer muffler under my hood. Go to My Webpage To see pics of it pics of it on the car will be up soon.

Even the WAI adds a little. Best bang is the WAI or CAI and the 62mm throttle body from RSM. I added it about 7,000 miles ago. The gas milieage stayed about the same, maybe 1/2 mile per gallon less. Power, definite seat of the pants. Didn't change the torque curve though. I was expecting higher revs before it kicked, however, it made the whole power band stronger, especially the high end. I also added the Rapid Fire plugs from GM and that helped smooth out the idle a little, plus made the pull feel stronger.

Another option for a WAI is from rksport. I've had it on my car for a couple of years I think. I like it. Nice sound, not to loud, not to quiet.
