Looking For Good Exhaust

OK i want mainly quite set up. A little noise but nothing loud. I like to hear myslef think while driving. Something that stays quite but does give a little HP without all the noise. Mainly while taking trips cause thats annoying to hear on the road for hours.

flowmaster delta 40 isnt bad, little bit of a rumble at low rpm but at cruisin speed it quiets down pretty nicely.

it seems like the Borla would be your best bet for what you want.

You could just get a 2" inlet/outlet muffler

borla is a waste, all you pay for is the name. custom is the way to go.

And somewhat knowing that you'll never have to pay to replace it again. It also bolts right on easy, looks great (i really like the tips), and is a good made product.

I probably would've bought one for the Alero had they still made it when i was looking for one. For the meantime I have the exhaust off the pace car, which probably won't hold up for that much longer, specifically the muffler looks like it's pretty thin to begin with and wasn't designed for everyday street use. When that gets replaced i have a Corsa muffler for a C5 corvette (usually sold with a $1000 + system).

If you don't want something that loud with duals, you could go either for a stock Grand Am GT system, or possibly a stock Camaro (like 93-97 Z28) muffler.

IDK I can't see spending that kinda money for a stock exhaust.

Go to www.summitracing.com and pick up a Flowmaster 80. They make one that is single in / single out both on the same side. It will fit like the stock muffler does. Get 2.25"
