i was just wanting to know if anyone knows of any specific internal engine mods that are available. i'm talking about pistons and rods and cranks and cams and anything else you guys and girls can think of. please respond if you know of any. i know where to get all the ported heads and manifolds and that stuff but i am just looking for internal right now.

Let's see....if you have a V6....

Federal-Mogul makes hyperutectic pistons in stock, +.010" or +.020" sizes, and jbodyperformance.com can get you Wiseco forged pistons if you come up with enough green..... the factory rods are plenty strong - so just have a machine shop lighten/balance them and fit them with ARP fastners to save a bit of moola........jbodyperformance.com sells a forged crank, but it's expensive and WAY overkill.

A performance cam is not available of-the-shelf, but take a stock cam and Crane,Comp, and Crower will all do regrinds for you for a couple hundred bucks.

hey thanks for the help man!! let me ask another question, i was looking at my friends 94 camaro the other day and was noticing that his engine looked very similar to mine and was wondering if some of their internal performance parts would fit in our cars. will someone please let me know. thanks.

the size of all those internal parts are very perticular from car to car within tenths of inches.......so grabbing one and throwing it into another engine is hard 2 do........maybe with some grinding and this and that it may be possible like he said up there........but not sure....
