Sell your car and buy a used redline or cobalt SS/SC. It will be more reliable and more powerful. They come with forged internals, a transmission that can handle the power, nicer exterior, recaro seats, and I wouldn't be shocked if it ends up costing around the same amount.

I doubt you'll find a used Redline or SS for the 3 grand it costs for an intercooled GM supercharger kit for the Eco.

I doubt his Ion will be up and running for $3000. It's going to cost significantly more than that unless you're really handy with the wrenches.

Probably could find the Saab turbo engine for that price though.

i thought you couldnt supercharge an engine that had an automatic transmission. Thats what i been told. It has something to do with the way the supercharger is mounted and the auto transmission is in the way. If i am wrong thank god cause i want to supercharge my 03 alero.

So many Ecotec automatic Cavs run the supercharger.

wanted the redline , but cheapest i found was 17,000 + change and i got my QC3 for 10,000 + change, plus the insurance was a large difference

well my supercharger plan was all go then piece of ice fell off a transport and took out my rad, so im down $750
|
