its weird that you guys have had so much problems with the 3400 yet mine has been bullet proof. Nate, another option if you want an easier swap than an LD9, but are sick of the 3400, go 3500. Its a little more work than just another 3400, but you'll have a bit more power under the hood, and reliability at the same time.

I've had a few issues with mine, but not directly related to the 3400 itself. Once that 3400 hits the fan, in goes 3500 I have in the garage.

well......let me say i don't normal look in this section being i don't work on the 3400 that often but damn people i understand Nate can be annoying but do all of you have to be such dinks.
Nate you have 2 choices.......junk the car or get a new motor. I would recommend get a good low mileage 3400. 3400 do have issues but all motors do. So the 3400 isn't a POS the original LIMG are but not the motor.

I just wish that people would give nate a brake. If you saw the conditon his car was in when he bought it. I think that he did amazing job fixing it. I have seen it in person and u would not know that it only cost him 300 bucks.

its a final fantasy thing, but back on topic, Nate, if you have another car to drive I would seriously look into a 3500 swap for your car.
