75$

Me I'm not to much of a fan of the 3 piece intakes though, had it once just didnt really like it, they also have two piece so it's just up to you... Others I saw on there with a junk filter for 35$ shipped. Then just go to an auto store and get yourself a k&n or spectre filter, spectre I'd say is really about as good.. Just half the cost.

I fabbed up a fender mount CAI for my car back in the day. Started off with a $30 Honda Accord kit and had to cut a few pieces to make it fit.

If you only get the filter, you're doing a WAI. That's not something you want to do. You want to draw colder air to the engine, not warmer. It is also said that if you keep the stock piping, the ripples on the plastic causes the air to not flow as smooth as it could be, defeating the purpose of the cone air filter. All in all, just get the whole thing... the difference between a GOOD air filter and an ebay kit WITH the good air filter isn't much. Some of them come with a K&N filter... just watch out for those "chrome intakes" filters. IDK who makes them but they are definitely a knock off. Also, don't make a CAI out of spectre stuff... there's a kit that can be tempting but their stuff isn't real aluminum/metal... it's ABS plastic painted chrome.

I Have a lordco and a napa auto parts near me. I cant buy anything over the internet unfortunately. What should I be looking for, for a CAI kit? and will any K&N filter do?

I didn't realize you were from Canada until I saw BC in your info under the avitar.

You can't really do much with that. Napa wouldn't sell that type of stuff and I've never heard of Lordco, but if they're like Napa, it would be the same. If you had the equivalent of Advance Auto Parts or Auto Zone, you would be stuck with the Spectre stuff, which IMO doesn't last long. I've seen Spectre piping at the junkyard with the paint peeling off, very similar to those fake gold watches they sell at Walmart.

You can't buy anything at all on eBay?/

Not trying to step on anyone's toes but i would hate to live in Canada cause of the huge shipping costs and the limited variety of car stuff you can get

it's all part of modding... you scour the local sites, and if you cant find it, you have it shipped... or have an American friend get it and ship it for you!! right Nate?? :P

btw, ALL 2 STAR, your car looks pretty clean... keep up the work on it
