Well I just got my windows tinted by Ziebart and if you have one in your area I Highly reccomend them as the job they did on my car is fantastic. I got 20% all the way around and it just looks beautiful.

Now my question to people that have had it on their car longer than me is what can I do to keep it looking this way for as long as possible? What Shouldn't I do?

Thanks for the info since I'm eager to learn!

Well, never use windex, or something with amonia in it to clean it. Thats about it really.

^^ pretty much sums it up. go to your local auto parts store and buy a window cleaner for tinted windows and use it. don't use anything for household cleaning.

You can even use a mix of vinegar and winter. I've heard that works the best.

If you live in a hot climate like I do, the tint we will be good to roll down in about three days. Atleast, that was how long I waited to do it. I coudn't stand not smoking in my car anymore.

also, when cleaning the rear window...its a good idea to wipe sideways(horizontally). That way you dont encourage peeling....cause most likley they did the rear in two or three sheets spliced together.
