Hey peeps I feel like a dummy but it seems like I can't turn those chrome lugnuts on a wheel with a hubcap. It doesn't have positive feel if I put a lug wrench on them to remove the wheel on the 2001 Alero.
IS there any other thing I need to do to get the hubcaps off?
Thanks

freeze12 is an unknown quantity at this point
You have to turn the chrome lugnuts to get the cover off. It may be on tight due to dirt or corrosion. I just use a Ratchet & socket to get them loosened.

Yeah, those can be on there pretty tight! When I was doing the breaks on my 99 I actually twisted the chrome cover off the plastic piece that actually connected the hubcap to the rim! But once the chrome cover came off, I was able to get the plastic nut off to remove the hubcap!

Okay thanks Dan will go for it with a ratchet.
Didn't want to mess anything up when it felt like nothing would move.

That is what I thought would happen is I might tear up the chrome but I will just go for it to get it done.
Thanks for the feedback!
