what do you think of this mini mod i did!

how do you like this? my car never had a middle vent and the tabs were broken so i decided id add this to it the sticker is cut to allow a red neon light to pass through the letters

so tell me what you think

And also how would i go about hooking up the water temp light?

looks like shit to be honest. the cuts are to wavy, and unless you have other interior mods, including carbon fiber, its going to look way out of place.

I like it!!

However I would use a different gauge. You already have a water temp gauge

I still like the idea, but it looks like shit.

Still needs to be cleaned up and maybe gray to match the dash, not carbon fiber, or CF radio bezel with this plate.

You also need to put away the radar decector and put the hazzard back in

FYI you should have your whistler radar detector above the dash cover, you block its detection range!

what did you use for the base? plexi?

The idea certainly is unique, and if you get more of a carbon fiber theme going, it'll fit better.

I would remove a little of the sticker (or CF) around the outer edging of the lettering, so the whole word is backlit. Other than smoothing it out, and possibly adding another gauge, it seems like a unique. keep us posted on the results. If you get A/F, for the love of god, get Wideband.

also, fix the radar detector... and put your hazard back in. that just looks lame.

It would look ten times better with some sort of trim ring around it, maybe cut the slats of the vent and use the surround as a trim piece.
