alright, so as most of you know i acquired a spare engine awhile back. it's a 3400 out of a 2003 grand am gt. it's the second motor out of this guy's car, so it's actually branded a 2000 motor, and it has 90,000 miles on it before the guy blew the head gasket and sold it to me for $75
. but anyways, over the past few months i've been tinkering with it, going one bolt at a time, but today i finally got into the good stuff and decided to make a log for myself
so follow along as i turn this engine into a BEAST
finally got the damn harmonic balancer off
ewww milky oil pan
yay no oil pan!
bottom side before removing the pistons, rods, and the oil sending unit haha
woohoo no more pistons!!
and that's as far as i've gotten today!
