I saw a thread where someone had mentioned trying this but i was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the process i might get a set from the junk yard to try modding.

it's not like clearing the corners at all. there was a guy who was doing this for ppl but I dunno if he is still on the forum. I would say abuse the search button under altezza tail lights. best of luck.

ok so you cant just take the lenses off of the tail lights, you are going to actually have to break them to get them to come off :lo: so your going to need to make fiberglass molds so that you can be able to make lexan lenses to put back onto to cover up the cleared out tails. if you can figure out how to do this and have the money to put into, people will pay big money for that. I would do it, but i dont have the money to put into it other wise i would have done it by now

its a custom mold type thing. you have to break/cut the lenses out then use clear plastic sheets and heat to cut to perfect size and mold to fit the curve, then use epoxy or sumthin to to mount it. on. pita i'm gonna guess cause it wasn't really cheap when anderbra does them.

If you're good with plastic molding you can do it yourself... but who's good with that, seriously? LOL!

i was thinking of using a dremel to cut the lens off and then plastic welding it back on. ill have to take a better look at the tails to see if i can do it w/o it showing.
