Hey guys

I recently went inner city and got some gas. I shouldnt have. 16 hours later I have a cylinder #6 misfire. I am pretty sure its the gas and so I went ahead and replaced the plug and gave it some fuel additive which have not fixed it yet. Of course my next step is testing the resistance on the wires and seeing if I need to go ahead with a replacement on them. Anything I am missing?

Oh I thought about that. I am hoping not stuck bad enough to need replacing.

I was thinking about the old standby Seafoam

Could be just a coincidence that it happened at the same time. If it was bad gas, you'd think every cylinder would have a problem burning it, not just one. Since you replaced the plug, check the wire and the coil. What does the seafoam do...clean out the cylinders? Wouldn't be a bad idea.

Well, the gas would have no bearing on the wires. I know that doesn't help but just pointing out that would be unrelated. Personally, what I would do is replace the fuel filter, burn through that tank of gas and then see if it still happens with new gas. That is if you are convinced the problem is fuel related.

Turned out to be an injector. I still to pressurize it clean or replace. Not cheap but must be done.
